The "Master of Science in Media Informatics Online" program at Beuth University of Applied Sciences uses the Internet to provide support and the necessary learning material. The modules are thus available in multimedia format for self-study. The learning room system used allows direct online access to the learning material and to information relevant to the course, facilitates the formation of learning and working groups and contact with other students. Only the introductory lecture and examinations are usually held in classroom lectures. All students gain extended application-oriented knowledge through interdisciplinary content from the fields of computer science, media design and media technology. The high degree of flexibility in terms of time and location makes it possible for working professionals or mothers and fathers on parental leave in particular to participate in the study program. For the use of the study content, media subscription fees amounting to approximately 470 euros per semester are charged.
