The study program “Master of Science in Ecology and Environmental Change” at Bielefeld University lasts four semesters and is taught in English. The training aims to prepare students to understand the ecological consequences of global warming. The curriculum includes the modules such as Ecosystem Wadden sea, Environmental change and chemical communication, Models in conservation biology, and Animal Ecology in a changing world. Students acquire chemical-analytical methods, design and conduct laboratory and field experiments and develop analytical, communication and problem-solving skills. To apply, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and B2 level in English.
