The study program “Bachelor of Arts in Music” at Bielefeld University has a continuation of six semesters. The program aims to introduce students to all the diversities of music. The syllabus includes the modules of Fundamentals of Musical Practice, Theoretical basics, project module didactics, Musical practices and theories, Aesthetic Education and Media, and a bachelor's thesis. Students acquire theoretical and practical knowledge and develop singing and instrumental skills. To submit, candidates must have a university entrance qualification and pass an aptitude test. Graduates find employment as teachers, music directors, band directors, vocal coaches, education managers, recording assistants and more.
