The study course “Master of Education in Music” at Bielefeld University has a duration of four semesters. The goal of the course is to prepare high-quality teachers in music. Participants deepen and expand their knowledge and skills and develop strong didactic skills. The curriculum includes Preparation and Reflection of the Teaching Experience Semester, Music in Context, and concludes with a Master's thesis. To submit, applicants must present a completed bachelor’s degree. Graduates find employment as music teachers in primary schools or start a job as music directors, administrators, band directors, vocal coaches, education managers and mentors.
