The study program “Master of Arts in Sociology” at Bielefeld University has a continuation of four semesters. The goal of the course is to deepen and expand the acquired knowledge from the undergraduate degree. The syllabus contains the compulsory modules of Introduction, Sociological Theory, Sociological Methods and concludes with a Master's thesis. To apply, students must have a bachelor’s degree in Sociology. Graduates start careers as teachers, human resources managers, data analysts, probation officers, paralegals, community organizers and marketing managers.
