The dual “Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering” program at Bochum University of Applied Sciences is with duration of nine semesters including the Bachelor thesis. During the course, students receive not only the required academic knowledge, but also the practical experience and skills of commercial vocational training. The nature of the program is a prerequisite for students to obtain valuable practical skills due to the early contact with the training and cooperation companies. Admissions are restricted and applicants are required to present a university entrance qualification. Moreover, all applicants are required to sign a vocational training contract.
