The seven-semester “Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering: Mechanical Engineering” degree program offered by Bochum University of Applied Sciences is a full- time course of study. This curriculum is designed jointly and across the departments of economics, electrical engineering, computer science as well as mechatronics and mechanical engineering. In the end of the course, students write a Bachelor thesis. Graduates can find work in various subfields of industrial and mechanical engineering: process management and cost analysis, technology management, design of quality and service management systems and others. Admissions for the course are restricted and students are required to present a university entrance qualification or a general higher education entrance qualification.
