The “Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics and Information Technology (KIS)” degree program is designed to combine practical phases in a company with studies at the Bochum University of Applied Sciences. Over the course of nine semesters, Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science, Mechanics, Electrical Engineering, Hardware Programming, Construction and other essential subjects are taught. Admissions for the program are restricted and candidates are required to present a higher education entrance qualification and an internship agreement. Having gained competence in the field, graduates are able to pursue careers in Mechanical and plant engineering, Automotive industry and suppliers, Medical and microsystem technology and others.
