The program “Master of Science in Computer Science” at Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences is consecutive to the bachelor's degree in computer science, medical informatics and applied computer science in the department of computer science and media. The master's program's goal is to provide a strong foundation for developing and consolidating current computer science expertise, with the option of one or more specialties in the department of computer science and media's broad range of work and research topics. There are three possible specializations, "Security and Forensics," "Network and Mobile Computing," and "Medical Informatics". A first professional university degree in computer science or a degree similar to computer science is required for admission to the master's degree program. Graduates work in regional medium-sized IT companies and the IT departments of hospitals.
