The online degree course “Bachelor of Science in IT Security” at Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences is six semesters long and provides students with sound basic knowledge of computer science - programming, operating systems, computer networks. The program concentrates on aspects of the organizational and technical protection of information infrastructures from the very beginning. The training offers a variety of teaching methods, such as 1-2 face-to-face events per semester, online consultation hours, meetings in virtual seminar rooms, media-supported self-learning modules, use of the "Moodle" teaching-learning system and asynchronous support via e-mail and forums. To submit, applicants must have an Abitur, technical college entrance qualification or a subject-specific university entrance qualification.
