The “Bachelor of Arts in Social Work” program is provided at the Brandenburg University of Technology. This undergraduate course is a six-semester, full-time, German-taught program. The main purpose of this program is to introduce the participants to the basics of social work. Therefore, the students will develop their knowledge and academic skills in psychological challenges, society, social analysis and researches, rehabilitation, health services and many others. Furthermore, this program offers the students an option to combine this course with a Polish or a Romanian Bachelor’s degree and spend one year abroad. The future graduates will be highly qualified to work within health centres, social departments, public services, education and media. The entry requirements include a general university entry certificate, as well as language skills in Polish for the participants, who aim to combine the German and Polish Bachelor’s degree.
