The study course “Bachelor of Arts in Art Education” provided at Braunschweig University of Art aims to develop art teachers qualified for art schools and art colleges. This is a full-time course completely in German. Students are encouraged to find and shape their artistic profile in combination with pedagogy methods. After completing the eight semesters, graduates can proceed with a career as a teacher in grammar schools or comprehensive schools, work in a museum, theatre, freelance or pursue academic development. Some of the included subjects are performing arts education, artistic thinking and acting, teaching and learning art, material, process, translation, art science and more.
