The study program “Bachelor of Arts in Design in the Digital Society” offered at Braunschweig University of Art teaches how to redesign and recreate products and processes in order to meet the needed changes in the world made by digitalization and global warming. The period of study is six semesters filled with theoretical lessons and practical projects which deepen the understanding of design. The program is in German and in full-time attendance. Graduates will have career opportunities as product designers for major companies in wide variety of industries and fields or start their own design company. The course includes subjects like Observing and Analyzing, Drawing and Representing, Designing and Creating, Science and Manufacturing Processes, Construction, Process, Dynamics, Design Theory, Digital Culture and more.
