The study program “Master of Arts in Media Studies” offered by Braunschweig University of Art dives deeper into the connection between creativity and technology from the bachelor course and expands on the prospects for cooperation scientific and artistic. Throughout the course classes are in full-time study form and the entirety of them is in German. The length of study is four semesters which provide fundamental media-analytical and media-theoretical reflection as well, as focus in art science and design. This master degree provides career opportunities as independent or public sponsors, cultural management, media policy, editorial activities, positions in cultural offices or foundations, in specialized journalism and media research, as well as tasks in the fields of media technology or media art. It also grants possibility for an academic career. Participants will learn subjects like media theory and history, media analysis, theory of technology, art studies, transformation design, media, communication and technology; practice and projects and more.
