The Catholic University of Applied Sciences Berlin offers the Bachelor’s degree “Bachelor of Arts in Childhood Education”, which qualifies its students for the profession of childhood educator towards family and public education, as well as for work in any field, connected with the childhood education. This course is divided into seven semesters and its main purpose is the preparation of students to gain scientific knowledge and practical professional experience in order to accompany children on the basis of reliable relationships in individual and social development processes. The entry requirements include any certificate for knowledge of the German language (for foreign students), general higher education entrance qualification or technical college qualification, recognized in the individual cases by the Berlin Senate or a general right of access.
