Description
The Catholic University of Applied Sciences Berlin offers the seven-semesters part-time Bachelor's degree “Bachelor of Arts in Creative Therapy /Clinical Art Therapy (extra-occupational)”, which provides the students with a chance to learn basic theories and practical skills in art and creative therapy. This course combines the artistic approach with thought and action models of depth psychology and social science knowledge. The main purpose of this program is to offer the students therapeutic training based on depth psychology and socially professional manner, as well as nationwide unique qualification opportunity, by the long-term cooperation between the Catholic University of Social Sciences and the German Working Group for Art and Design Therapy. The entry requirements for this course include proof of vocational training or studies, usually in the medical, social, educational or artistic field, proof of professional activity during the course in the field of creative therapy / clinical art therapy or proof of the possibility of working in art and creative therapy for at least four hours per week, as well as completed creative therapy basic course (or comparable further training) in the time frame of approx. 140 hours, and successful completion of an admissions interview.
