The Catholic University of Applied Sciences Berlin offers the five-semesters Master’s course “Master of Arts in Curative Education (extra-occupational)” that enables the individuals to expand the content and deepen the subject matter in a curative education towards inclusion and participation. This course is characterized by the conceptual interdisciplinary linking of the knowledge of curative education and social work and its main purpose is to help the students in the to gain deeper knowledge in the fields of social space orientation, social economy and management, as well as to expand their socio-professional repertoire. The entry requirements include a completed first university degree (Bachelor, Diploma or Magister) in the courses of special education, rehabilitation education, school special education and similar fields of study or social work certificate or another relevant field of study and at least three years of professional experience.
