The Catholic University of Applied Sciences Berlin offers the Master’s degree “Master of Arts in Education and Counselling in Social Work and Pedagogy”, which provides the students with a chance to develop skills in a targeted manner, as well as it focuses on the development of innovative educational and advisory approaches. The entry requirements include first professional university degree in social work, curative education, childhood education, religious education or another relevant university degree. With the successful completion of this master’s course, students will be generally qualified for activities in the counselling and educational context, as well as specifically for more strategically and conceptually oriented job profiles. Thus, students will be able to take action in the fields of education, addiction, migration and social counselling, as well as in the development and management of innovative projects and organization or management of relevant agencies.
