“Social Work + Practical Theology’’ is a double degree Bachelor of Arts study program. In the course of ten semesters, students will acquire knowledge and skills in both disciplines that will help them to further tackle social and theological issues. Participants will also deal with theories and findings from other sciences such as medicine and health, sociology, psychology and others. Thus, they will acquire a better understanding of social frameworks and practical theology. Furthermore, the curriculum provides comprehensive modules as well as three professionally supervised internships. Graduates with a Bachelor’s degree can continue their studies with a Master’s course or seek career opportunities in various fields of social work and pastoral care.
