The “Master of Education in Jewish Religious Education – Teaching at Grammar Schools” is a 4-semester teacher training program conducted in German. It is suitable for applicants with a Bachelor’s degree in Jewish Studies, who wish to further their qualifications. The aim of the program is to deepen the theoretical knowledge of students and provide them with practical relevance. The curriculum consists of the fundamental subjects related to Jewish Studies, as well as courses in Didactics and Educational Sciences. Throughout their studies, participants receive acquire an in-depth understanding of the content and acquire hands-on experience. Furthermore, the MA focuses on self-growth and soft skills development such as communication and organisation, leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, and more. Graduates are qualified to pursue teaching positions at grammar schools.
