The "Dentistry" program at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin is split into two halves, each lasting five semesters. Students participate in patient therapy under professional supervision as part of their clinical training. The variety of topics covered includes everything from microscopic anatomy to surgical training. The scientific pre-examination and the dental pre-examination must be passed in the first half of the course. The dental examination as a state examination closes the second section. Upon application, candidates must submit a university entrance qualification and undergo an admissions procedure with an aptitude test.
