The “Bachelor of Science in Sports Engineering” is a German-taught program with a duration of 6 semesters. The curriculum includes multifaceted courses such as Engineering basics, Materials science and engineering, Anatomy and physiology, Sports science basics, Sports equipment and materials and their use, Sports and rehabilitation technology, and more. The program is practice-oriented and aims to teach students the know-how of the field and prepare them for a working environment. Participants will also gain general qualifications and key competencies needed for a successful career. Graduates are qualified for positions with a focus on the development and manufacture of sports equipment and materials. Graduates can be further certified as experts after additional training and then secure a position as assessors or examiners for sports equipment or infrastructure.
