“Bachelor of Science in Midwifery” is a seven-semester full-time degree program provided by the Coburg University of Applied Sciences and Arts. It is practice-oriented course, teaching students how to think and act holistically, to take care of woman and their families, as well as to understand the health promotion. They will attend theoretical lectures such as Designing Birth Support, Non-clinical Midwifery, Scientific Basics, Communication, Midwifery Research. In addition, for expanding their professional experience and skills, participants take part in practical trainings. Successfully completing the course qualifies participants for a career in clinics, hospitals, and birth centers.
