Cologne University of Catholic Theology offers a doctorate degree program in “Catholic Theology”. The duration of this course of study is usually four semesters and is aimed at deepening participants’ abilities to work on an independent scientific project. Only students who already possess a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree or a diploma in Theology can apply for this program. Furthermore, participation in six doctoral colloquiums is mandatory along with regular attendance of the other seminars. Graduates with a doctorate degree will be able to use their knowledge and skills in various scientific activities in educational and research institutions and institutes.
