This “Master of Science in Automotive Development” program at the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences is at a Master’s level. During the 4-semester study, students are taught a variety of subjects in German, but there are some included courses in English. Some of the main areas in which students are able to acquire in-depth knowledge include Engine Development, Drive Technology, Body Development, Vehicle Safety, Hybrid Construction and others. Students are given access to a large amount of information and are encouraged to develop and improve their practical skills in the field. Through a combination of lectures and practice-based training, students are given the means to explore various career options. Prospective jobs include positions in automotive development engineering, drive train development, the supplier industry and aerospace.
