The “Bachelor of Science in Chemistry” program at the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences is structured as a dual studies program. This means that during the course of study, students are able to combine lectures with real-life professional experience. The Chemistry program prepares students with the theoretical basics of chemistry, as well as laboratory and analytical basic operations, preparative work and physical analysis. Some of the main subjects taught in this program are Mathematics, Physics, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Informatics and more. The program does not have restricted admissions, but the prerequisite for admission to the course is the conclusion of a student contract with a company with which the university has concluded a cooperation agreement.
