The “Master of Science in Industrial Engineering” program at the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences is aimed at students who have a background in the field and are looking to expand their expertise. The program intends to give students in-depth economic and engineering knowledge, while developing their practical skills. Depending on the students’ academic background, the program can last for 3 or 4 semesters. The last semester is dedicated to the students’ Master thesis. The entry requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant academic field. Because of the interdisciplinary nature of the program, graduates are able to work in a variety of professional areas starting their career directly, setting up their own business or pursuing an academic career.
