The field of digital media and communications is constantly growing and developing. With a “Master of Arts in International Media and Cultural Work” degree from the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, students are able to adapt to the changes in the industry and gain important skills. During the English-language program, students focus on Media Aesthetic Education and Cultural Communication to develop expertise in inspiring society to a deeper and critical understanding of media technologies’ cultural implications, as well as their social and ethical dimensions. Upon application, candidates must present a Bachelor’s degree from one of the following fields: digital media, media culture, or media pedagogy. Graduates are able to work in a variety of positions like cultural managers, dramaturges, cultural editors, art educators, consultants, cultural publicists, exhibition designers and more.
