The “Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics” program at the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences combines aspects from mechanics, electronics and information technology. Over the course of 7 semesters, students are taught Technical Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Informatics, Software Engineering and other subjects in an indisciplinary manner, combining both theory and project work. A basic internship of 8 weeks must be proven before the start of the program as part of the admission requirements. Graduates are able to work in product development, construction, electronics, information technology and many other fields.
