The rise of digital media has opened up a variety of new scientific fields and areas of specialization. The “Master of Science in Media, Technology and Society” program at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences aims to understand the constant changes in the field and prepare students for an excelling career. During the 3-semester English-language Master’s course, students are given in-depth methodological, theoretical and conceptual knowledge in the fields of technology and society. All applicants are required to pass an aptitude test as part of the admission process. Career prospects for graduates include work in publishing houses and broadcasters, in communication departments and agencies, in companies that produce and operate digital media and applications and more.
