Aspects of sport and exercise science are becoming increasingly important in the research areas of prevention, rehabilitation and lifestyle interventions. In the Master's degree programme in Applied Sports Science, you will be trained to become a scientifically reflective expert who can competently, creatively and critically perform managerial tasks in sports-related fields of action. The aim is to further deepen your sports science knowledge and skills. Nowadays, those who coach athletes work together in a team with colleagues from a wide range of professional fields. One focus of your training will therefore be team-oriented care and the equal appreciation of cooperation between all.

Requirements


Admission requirements:

  • General German university entrance qualification, or please check your eligibilty at the DAAD if you own an international qualification
  • At least a Bachelor's degree in a subject related to sports science (sports, medicine, physiotherapy, nutrition, psychology, medical or health informatics)
  • Bachelor's degree: Missing ECTS can be made up and applied for via this PDF.
  • Medical certificate confirming unrestricted fitness to do sport

Prerequisites: In-depth knowledge of basic Biology subjects
