The aim of the Master's programme is thus to enable graduates of a diploma or bachelor's programme to support the knowledge gained to date with further theoretical knowledge in order to meet the requirements of modern development tasks, particularly in high-tech areas, in a special way. The Master's degree paves the way for a later doctorate and thus also for work in scientific fields.
Language:
The Master's programme is taught in English. Therefore a good (B2 level) understanding of English is necessary for the study and must be proven by common language examinations such as TOEFL, IELTS for English. A list of recognised certificates can be found on our website.

Requirements
Admission requirements:
- Admission requirement for the Master's degree programme in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at the Deggendorf Institute of Technology is a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Science (or a related subject) with an overall grade of at least "good".
- In addition, applicants must pass an assessment test. The written aptitude test is offered at DIT. If you cannot take the test in Deggendorf, an online test is available. However, this test is administered by an external service provider and therefore involves a fee of 26 USD, which must be paid with an internationally recognised credit card at the time of the appointment (sample test).
- Work experience after completing the first university degree is not required for approval.
