THE PERFECT INTERSECTION

With this study course, the Deggendorf Institute of Technology has succeeded in closing an important gap in the training of future managers and coordinators in the health, social and rescue sectors. The focus of the course is on building a bio-psycho-social understanding - the basis for the modern orientation of health care, the development of social security systems and, last but not least, the basic understanding of human life and behaviour.

Central building blocks for the realisation of this objective are classical business and economic methods, scientific methods, knowledge of political and socio-political framework conditions, the critical examination of the topics digitisation, sustainability and ethics.

A further focus and special feature of this course is the emphasis on psychosocial competences, counselling and mediation competence as well as an attitude towards interdisciplinarity.
