The four-semester study program “Master of Science in Computational Science and Engineering’’ is offered at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne. Taught entirely in English this course of study offers interdisciplinary education. The latter is specifically designed in order to equip students with a combination of skills and knowledge in various areas like numerical mathematics, multiscale and multi-physics, high performance computing and more. Furthermore, participants will have the chance to further strengthen their practical skills by applying them during a compulsory eight-week internship. Some of the core modules that students will take feature Advanced Numerical Analysis, Algorithms, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, Image Processing and more.
