École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne offers a four-semester Master of Science study program in ‘’Digital Humanities’’. This course of study is taught entirely in English. With this program students will get the chance to learn about both disciplines, namely data science and humanities and social sciences. This will ensure that participants learn about data-harvesting processes, how to choose and design algorithms, design user experience or maintain big databases and archives. Some of the core courses include Computer Science, Digital Humanities, Social and Human Sciences. Optional modules will be also available to participants to choose. In addition, students will be required to take a compulsory six-month internship in a cultural institutions, industry or academia.
