The four-year study program “Acting” offered by Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts provides teaching in small works groups, conducted by not only various teachers, but also by actors and dramaturges, in order to provide students with an insight of their future career. The curriculum is divided into basic and main studies. The basic studies are distinguished by their consistency and methodical approach, whereas the main studies contain more work on projects. The teaching is focused on the observations of Konstantin Stanislawski`s and Bertolt Brecht`s theatrical practice, whose acting techniques are implemented in a varied manner. Throughout the acting classes, participants train and develop themselves and the roles they play. The projects and productions that are created in the framework of the program are all presented on the Academy`s studio stage. Furthermore, in the program an emphasize is put on gestural speaking, musical education, theater history and etc. Graduates are well prepared for the various aesthetics that the profession can carry with it.
