The degree program “Master of Arts in Choreography” offered by Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts is merged into the Hochschulübergreifendes Zentrum Tanz (HZT) Berlin. The strong association between academic education and technical artistic practice is a distinguishing feature of the programs in HZT. They are experimental in nature, combining artistic instruction, fundamental academic instruction, and practical technical assistance. The content of the program is so constructed that it reacts to changes in contemporary art production by debating what dance, music, and choreography are and can be as art forms in today`s societies, in an innovative and critical way.
