The four-year diploma degree program “Contemporary Puppetry Art” offered by Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts provides an education, in which the centre of attention is the performer. The curriculum starts with the basics of acting and puppet and object animation. The program is ideal for those who want to perform on stage and grow their own creative voice, because from the very first day students are taught to create their own stories. Throughout the course of studies, participants interact with various types of puppets in scene studious. The training is very personalized, and there is plenty of space to try one`s artistic concepts, due to the small groups of 10 students in a class. Some of the subjects that are taught are speaking, movement, fencing, tap dance, design theory and etc. A puppeteer/ performing diploma is awarded at the end of the program.
