The study program “Master of Arts in Dramaturgy” offered by Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts provides students with a thorough knowledge in the field of drama. Because of the close relation to the directing education, students take up core classes together with the directing students, such as cultural sociology and theater history. They also gain expertise in applied dramaturgy, so as to deepen their understanding. As one of the centres of attention of the program is the work as a dramaturg, students help as dramaturgical assistants in all departments of the Academy. Students show their ability to create their own artistic ideas and make them reality as production dramaturgies in the final projects.
