ESMT Berlin provides a PhD program based on organized curricula, in a vibrant academic atmosphere. The ESMT PhD study curriculum comprises a series, not necessarily, of standard structural training programs given by the School of Economics (BSE) and courses on soft skills, lectures and summer schools. The program has a duration of 3 years and by the end of their studies students receive a maximum of 180 credits. Structural courses provide 30 credits, while research paper and presentation for the PhD candidacy leads to 15 credits.
