“Weather Service” is a full-time dual Diploma study program offered at the Federal University of Applied Administrative Sciences with a duration of six semesters. This course is practice-oriented, aimed to teach students the fundamentals of public administration, as well as aeronautical meteorology. By attending lectures, seminars and practical trainings, participants will be able to develop IT systems and programs, solve complex meteorological problems, create professional reports, and understand the physical processes in the atmosphere. In addition, they will take part in an internship program abroad, where students will learn more about the different forecasting methods, while also strengthening their communication and teamwork skills. This course qualifies graduates for professional work in the meteorological service at airports, or in the regional weather consulting.
