The “Bachelor of Arts in Architecture’’ program offered by FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences is designed to prepare students to become qualified in working in planning and architectural offices and gain the foundation principles of architecture-related jobs. The program has a duration of six semesters and focuses on practice-oriented manned through independent work of each participant and team projects. The curriculum includes compulsory and elective modules that prepare students for the essential know-how regarding building construction, building technology, urban planning, architectural history, and management. In the fifth semester, participants decide the specialization field based on their own interests. Students that successfully complete the study program will be admitted to the Master’s program that is a precondition to be declared as an independent architect.
