The degree program “Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering’’ is a full-time study program at FH Aachen University of Applied Science with a duration of six semesters. This study program is ideal for students who are expressing interest in the field of biomedical engineering and want to learn how to create innovative solutions for hospitals, medical practices, and rehabilitation facilities. Throughout the course participants will explore the essentials of engineering, mathematics, physics, and natural science. Students are entitled to choose the field of specialization from two areas: measurement and information technology or biomechanics, biomaterials, and process engineering. During the last semester, participants can do a practical project in a company or a semester abroad. With a degree in Biomedical Engineering, graduates can pursue a wide range of careers in product development, biomedical applications, production and application technology, quality assurance, and more.
