The Master’s degree program “Master of Science in Biotechnology’’ offered at FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences is a full-time study program with a duration of three semesters and an option for an additional practical semester. The study program provides personal supervision during the courses and practically focused modules. The language of instructions of this program can be in German or English, depending on the specific modules. Students who enrol in this study program will learn about the latest field of bioeconomy, most specifically the concepts of biorefinery technology and consolidated bioprocesses. The curriculum focuses on providing practically relevant skills to the students and therefore involves an examination process that focuses on presentations, participation in discussions, and only a few written exams.
