The bachelor degree “Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering: Sustainable Energy Systems’’ offered by FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences is a study program with a duration of seven semesters and an option for an additional practical semester. The study program focuses on electrical power engineering and more specifically generation, distribution, and conversion of electrical energy. Throughout the course, participants will gain knowledge about the electrical equipment of power plants, photovoltaic and wind power plants as well as nuclear power plants, both in theory and practice. Students will be able to participate in a solar thermal demonstration in an experimental power plant and during the seventh semester to practice in well-equipped, new laboratories of the university. A degree in Electrical Engineering Sustainable Energy Systems will give graduates the opportunity to pursue a career across different fields such as research and development, project planning, design and manufacturing, quality assurance, and more.
