The degree program “Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering – Sustainable Energy Systems’’ is a full-time study program at FH Aachen University of Applied Science with a duration of seven semesters and optionally an additional semester for an internship. The study program provides the fundamentals required to become a mechanical engineer and gives the possibility to each student to specialise in one of the following fields: sustainable energy systems or construction of components. The curriculum entails both theoretical and practical modules. Graduates from this course will be able to engage in different job roles in the following areas: solar technology, solar thermal power plants, tidal, wind, and wave power, development of fuel cells, power plant, and more.
