FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences offers the Bachelor degree program “Mechanical Engineering’’ which is designed for international students. The study program has a duration of six semesters with the main language of instructions – German and some modules being taught in a third language. The study program goal is to teach students all the required mathematical, scientific skills to become Mechanical Engineers. During the fifth semester, students will be able to choose freely a specialization from three areas: energy technology, environmental technology, and nuclear technology. Graduates of this course will be able to engage in different job roles in the utilization of nuclear energy, wind power, solar power and solar thermal plant, energy conversion technology, energy efficiency, and more.
