The degree program “Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics Dual’’ is a full-time study program at FH Aachen University of Applied Science with a duration of nine semesters. The program combines practice and theory by giving the opportunity to students to do training in parallel with the lectures and gain technical skills. The curriculum aims to provide knowledge in mechanical engineering and electrical engineering. During the first five semesters, students focus on acquiring general knowledge in mathematics, science, and engineering. In the next four semesters, students are learning in-depth mechatronics and business skills. The program offers specialization that can be chosen by each student during the seventh and eighth semesters. In the last semester, the focus is on the bachelor thesis and a practical project that after successful completion leads to completion of the degree program.
