The Bachelor’s degree program “Bachelor of Science in Ophthalmic Optics and Optometry’’ offered at FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences is a full-time and dual study program with a duration of eight semesters. The program combines theory and practice in the areas of optometry, natural and engineering sciences, biomedicine and management. During the studies, participants will have to attend lectures for 12-14 weeks that are followed by comprehensive in-depth e-learning and practice within a company. At the end of the studies, participants will acquire the needed qualifications in physical and biological optics and will have the knowledge to detect the causes of vision problems.
