The degree program “Bachelor of Engineering in Rail Vehicle Technology’’ offered at FH Aachen University of Applied Science is a part-time study program with a duration of eleven semesters. Lectures takes place two to three days per week during the day for the period of ten semesters, followed by a semester focused on a practical project and the bachelor thesis. The curriculum entails modules, internships, and exercises in mathematics, natural sciences, business, and engineering sciences. Students will be able to choose freely a specialization from seven compulsory courses in control and safety technology, manufacture and marketing of rail vehicles, quality and safety, and rail vehicle technology.
